Comedy Central’s newest sketch comedy series, Alternatino

Adriana DeGirolami is from Chicago, [the city, not a suburb - an important distinction]. She is an honors graduate of NYU’s Tisch drama program through the Atlantic Theater Company where she was fortunate enough to train under the leadership of William H. Macy and David Mamet.

Her numerous television appearances include her more recent starring role on season two of FX’s Snowfall. She’s also had recurring roles on Nurse Jackie and Red Oaks as well as guest starring roles on Law & Order: SVU and Bull. She is featured in supporting roles for Sundance darlings James White and Anthony Mandler’s upcoming Monster.

In addition to her acting work, Adriana is an avid writer and director. Her short film Pat and Penelope made its world premiere at London’s Vault Film Festival in 2017. She also co-created and directed the online sensation Abuela Votes! with the generous support of Ghetto Film School and Warrior Poets. She is currently developing both upcoming comedic series Coming For You and Paco Takes On, and feature-length adaptation of NYC Fringe Festival winner The More Loving One

Other passions include sharing her plentiful feelings through overly-expressive hand gestures and reading people’s astrological charts for them whether they’ve asked for it or not. She currently resides in Los Angeles with her Cuban sweetheart and creative partner, Nick Ducassi, their kitten Paloma, and an ever-expanding number of plants that are - amazingly - still alive.
